I bought the charger through ebay using 3P's income and now, I am just glad that my blogging hobby is serving its purpose. Kung dili gani, mangita na lang ako chat mate. . . . . ;)

I hope to get the charger soon so I can use my laptop at home and stay late at night, waiting for opps and watching korean cd's of teleserye's. HAHAHAHHAHA I could really be dramatic, and funny all at once. Kaloka nga!!!!

See you all my friends!!! Thanks for visiting me. Hope to hear from you all.

PayPerPost Paid Me!

I have been blogging, originally because I wanted to earn online. So, my patience of waiting opps and blog hopping paid off. Huuuuuuuuuurrrrrray! The 3P had paid me $20.00 for my first postie and that is just easy money for something you love, writing.

So, I am inviting all new bloggers who wish to augment their meager income to try PayPerPost.
I am hoping I will get more opps in spite of my busy schedule, so I can stop working. hehehhehehe

Ang hirap nga naman ng buhay ng naghahapbuhay, complicated talaga!!!!

WHat My Name Means

What Rosilie Means

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.

You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.

You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life.

You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.

At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.

You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.

You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.

You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.

Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.

You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.

At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

Getting Tension Head Aches

As I had been bustling for 2 weeks in a 16-hour load, my head was all throbbing. I thought I had hypertension already and may collapse soon. My friends/co-employees told me to slow down as the ache was brought up by heavy stress, emotional, mental stress not to include physical aches. I had to check my eyes with an opthalmologist and was diagnosed with over-fatigued vision. . . =(

So, I decided to give up one load (from the 44-hour teaching load) just to have that precious hour for rest (and blogging......) everyday.

But as I slowed down today, still the head pressure was on. Tomorrow, I shall head to my opthalmologist for a pair of eye glasses. Teaching can really wear you down, though it pays off also to nurture somone else's mind.

Well, the price of service.. . .

Just Getting a Blog Stop

I had been very busy with teaching in the days and preparing lectures in the evening. Last night, I just dozed off in the midst of watching a movie. I only slept with head again the chair's arm rest. Kaluoy!!!! Too bad too that, I hadnt had the chance to write a new post since Saturday. I could not even hop to my blog friends for two day.

However, today, we were informed that the daily classes will just be met every other day and I just felt relieved that I could have the chance to still blog. I love writing as I could pour my heart out and best of all, I could meet friends, new and old ones anytime.

So, thank you my blogger-friends for keeping on checking me. Take care always. I hope to hear from all of you.

24/7 Busy Buzz

If you are jobless, a day and night could be very dragging but when you are actually employed (not to include, that you are teaching in the day, checking papers at night), and studying all at once, could be very draining and time consuming.

Today, I just had myself enrolled in Master in Info Tech. Good thing, I passed my entrance exam with good scores. hehehhehe. However, I dread already the days when I have to hustle between being a teacher and a student. I only pray, I wont take my Yuri and blogging for granted =).

My laptop is not working for 2 days now. So, sorry my fellow bloggers, I have to find time in school just to check my site and do short blog hops. I hope to still see you around my blog.

I hope to get my laptop done, so I can squeeze blogging at night time. Take care then my friends. Visit me when you can and I will find time to know your updates.Ciao. . . have to travel an hour back home. . .

Filipino Education is a BIG CRYING DISAPPOINTMENT

Teaching in college for 10 years had allowed me to mingle and interact students from various secondary schools. And sad to say, majority would come from the public schools. Good for those who could afford to go to a private institution because the learnings and skills of the students are quite better. But, my sad heart goes to those who could only go to public schools. The tuition could be free, however, the price that the students and parents have to pay after their graduation was more expensive and irreversible. Their communication skills alone were very poor if not bad. I had to teach Grade 1 English Tutorial among college students. WOW!!!! Kaguol man.

Now, I wonder, would great Filipinos in intellectual competence will still be known worldwide? Most especially the ones coming from the greater public? The ones who are in power now, are the ones coming from the elite.. . So, those who are in the bottom list, would only struggle for employment and living. . . and this continues to their kids. We can only prolong their misery. . .

Is this also true in other nations? I really wonder. . .

Been Buzzing in SOcial Sanctuary

Yesterday was first day of school and while it was orientation day for everyone, I got a 10-hour call to do. I had to leave home 7:00 am and school at 8:30 pm, Graveh ! ! ! I began to appreciate doing business just at home, wala pa kaayo stress except kung walay opportunities.

Anyway, if I could not check your links right away, forgive me, 'cause being a teacher is just like being a very busy bee. . . .

I will get back to my friends' links in the evening, when everyone is quite and dozing. . .

Have a nice day ahead friends . . .

Great Filipinos as Refugees

In the recent national news, our beloved president GMA was criticized for giving out money to the poor Filipinos.

Is this really a solution to the economic crisis we have now? We are in deep turmoil amidst energy crisis, rice shortage and unemployment. Can we really have hope in the coming days? I dont think so. WHy? Because the greater majority are the poor and they dont actually see and experience real and sustaining solutions from the government. Instead, they are given only food stubs and money to sustain initial hunger.

Because in spite of the crisis the great majority is experiencing, our politicians are instead busy bickering one another with their personal interest to hide and protect.

Can we really offer life-sustaining solutions? Perhaps, we change the values we have like utang na loob, pakikisama, too-tight family strings, bahala na, pwede na yan, and other overly-abused traits, then we can gradually place leaders of higher moral standards and really uphold public service and accountability. Only then, the rest of the system will change.

What do you think?

Can Break Ups Really Break You Down?

I only had two serious romantic relationships and bad for me, that I ended up with broken heart and soul (murag si Kris Aquino) but I only mopped for few days, picked up myself and just walked on. . . I may have my wishes to turn back the time but then, I would never really grow as mature as I am now, if I had not gone through failures, may it be in a romantic level or not. Now, I could only pray for continued courage and wisdom to still love life and people around me, especially my son.

I would always love this song, "I Will Survive." It reminds me that breaking up cannot and will not make me break down. I wont allow that at all!!!!! I still believe that sunshine is always there after a heavy rain. . .So, to all who just losed their loved ones, go cry a lot, eventually accept the truth, then move on and when you see the person who broke your heart, (go kick his ass para lang sa mga bitter huh!), show your biggest smile and say, THANK YOU for breaking up with me, my life is more beautiful without you!!! Go Girls!!!!

Kung Fu Panda: A Lesson for Every Young One and Young Once

Just recently, my son Yuri had FORCED us to watch this movie (kung fu is our main course!) and the theater house was all packed. But, as we struggled on our tight seat, we began to enjoy the movie.

It depicts the character of self-esteem and faith. So, I began to reflect that we could not really be haunted by our limitations, instead, we find means to overcome them and even achieve more. Also, it shows that even others belittle you and your competence, you cannot really allow them to put you down may it be in terms of IQ, beauty, skills, physical ability, experience or other stuffs. So, I emphasized this to Yuri (and more to myself).

Are you a parent too? How do you impart values from the movies you and your child are watching? I highly believe that character must be equally important with IQ. Do you also think so?

So, do watch this movie with your kids. You will sure love their kung fu kicks, comedy and story.

Teaching is Noble but Mind-Draining!

I have been teaching in college as an IT professor for 10 years. Most of the time, I feel enthusiastic imparting lessons and helping my students during laboratory works. Few of the time, I just want to yell. . . OMG!

Now, that I am newly hired in one of the schools here in Gen Santos City and assigned with subjects I taught years ago, I could only feel my head pounding!!!! It is like learning how to ride a bike again when your last ride was ages ago.

So, classes will start on Tuesday with 10 subjects to handle from Monday to Friday, I could only pray . . . . . OMG (again)! My masteral schooling is set every Saturday. Oh my, will I still have time for myself and blogging? hehehheheh I will sure miss blogging day and night!

Hope my friend-bloggers will miss me and visit me often. . . hey folks, you must miss me!!!

Is Your Date Fashion Style Classy, Sassy, or Trashy?

Your Style is Classy

You've got class, and you know how to put together a guy catching outfit
You're more likely to shop at Bloomie's than bebe
For you style is looking like a million bucks...
And you're always do with your fantastic yet feminine wardrobe

Is Your Date Fashion Style Classy, Sassy, or Trashy?

Your BLood Type Tells Your Personality!

We usually find scientific facts to explain the kind of personality we have. So, this could somehow help explain why we are grumpy, witty, weird, and lovable. . . (sisihun man ang blood type, hehehheh)

According to a Japanese institute that does research on blood types, there are certain personality traits that seem to match up with certain blood types.

What is your blood type? I am an AB+ (in short, ABnormal, hahhaha).

TYPE B

You're a rugged individualist, who's straightforward and likes to do things your own way. Creative and flexible, you adapt easily to any situation. But your insistence on being independent can sometimes go too far and become a weakness.

TYPE O

You want to be a leader, and when you see something you want, you keep striving until you achieve your goal. You are a trend-setter, loyal, passionate, and self-confident. Your weaknesses include vanity and jealously and a tendency to be too competitive.

TYPE A

You like harmony, peace and organization. You work well with others, and are sensitive, patient and affectionate. Among your weaknesses are stubbornness and an inability to relax.

TYPE AB

Cool and controlled, you're generally well liked and always put people at ease. You're a natural entertainer who's tactful and fair. But you're standoffish, blunt, and have difficulty making decisions.

How do you rate? I am quite at ease with every one, big men or not, (my sweet smile sways them off right away, kabaga!!!), I am rational but could be very impulsive especially with bags, shoes and clothings. I really do have difficulty in making decisions so, my friends and family's advices really help. Being weird and witty at the same time, is quite difficult,eh. . . . hahahhahha

I am passing this to everyone who wants to know themselves (para sa mga nangawala ug nabuta sa gugma or kalisud sa bugas). Kabuang ko gid. =)

Entrance Exam is Only for the Young Ones Not Young Once!!!

I had a long day today as I took the graduate school entrance exam for Masters in Information Technology from NDMU, Marbel City.

WOW!!!! I realy realized how old I am because my eyes were all strained only from 3-5 questions answered and I had more than 500 questions in just 2 hours. I dont know if you can still remember the kind of questions you answered when you had your college or high school entrance exam. Who actually invented that anyway????

The exam will tell whether I can really pursue MSIT or just flush it to the toilet bowl and just do blogging. . . oh, my!!!!

The problems seemed easy but when you are put under time pressure, you can only curse! waaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

Well, who ever said studying is easy must be a genious. How about examining being easy? Whoever said that must get lost.

Great Filipinos in Hunger

We have been staying with my parents for almost two months now. When we left Zamboanga City, the NFA rice (government's poor-quality rice supply) was sold at 18.00 a kilo only. Some residents would not even bother buy it as they prefer the sweet-smelling yet expensive rice, except those who have no choice. Now, after the government had announced that there was a rice shortage at the middle of ZTE scandal, the NFA rice rose to 18.25/kilo with only 2 kilos per family allowance.

In our barangay, at 6 am, old and young folks line up before a closed store, waiting to get their share. Prime rice now costs at 55.00 pesos/kilo. In the coming months, this may cost to 60.00. No wonder, Filipino folks are always on the streets, protests of different causes. Click here for the related story. For a big family which is typical of Filipinos, their meal supply is between 2-3 kilos. Great, our population now is around 80 million with almost half of the population is below poverty line. No wonder, more and more Filipino professionals are leaving the country and more and more crimes are committed in the name of poverty.

I began to realize, we seem like refugees at our very own country, hostaged without ransom at all!!!

Can we still say we really have hope? Our politicians are already preparing their commercial ads in preparation for the 2010 election. . . Pinoy, kailan ka ba talaga susulong?

My Son's Fave Stuff

Thank you Twerlyn for this tag.

Here are the rules:

Post a photo of your baby with her/his first ever favorite/comfort toy. Write some details of your fondest memory of your baby and her toy. This will make a good memento when your baby grows up!

Lastly, before you pass this on to six mommies, don’t forget to add the link to your website’s at the end of the page. I’m sure many moms would love to see your sites, too!

This is my son, Yuri. He quite loves playing games at our computer. In this pic, he was only 3 years old and already playing computer game. Geez, I dont know but he is quite visual. He can actually remember game key strokes than adults and can really play well to the point that he instructs the old ones in playing.

In class, his IQ is as high as their honor students but academically, he performs really not that good. Perhaps, he sees his teachers' styles boring and so he plays most of the time. Should I blame technology? Perhaps. He likes to play with his game boy and PSP too. I am only glad now that he spends most of his time outdoor with his cousin JP and our neighbor kids.

These are the pics of the beautiful handcrafted necklaces we have to pair or not with the earrings and bracelets or anklets we have(click here for complete collection).

They are made in complementary stones and pearls with pendants to highlight.

There could be other necklaces sold in the mall, but I am proud that these necklaces are quite unique, classy and elegant, not to mention, they are sold at reasonable prices. You can have them customized, have your fave colors or birth stones or your very own design. All these can be made in a prompt time. You can have these as gifts to your friends or family and they would sure love the personalized style.

Creative Handcrafted Bracelets for Sales

I started my handcrafting of fashionable accessories with my sister, Tammy just weeks ago. And from unique and beautiful earrings, we started the bracelets. Some pics are here. I like best the pearls with highlighted stones and the fourth pic, in bronze chain, with all colorful stones to boost.

As an added collection to the earrings, click here to see more pics, we had designed and created new bracelets and anklets made from beach stones and shells. They were quite difficult to do as we hooked them delicately, piece by piece. But, as we finished them, we took pride in showing off a beauty.

My friend, Twerlyn, had made her earrings and bracelet (I sent her this 4th pic for her lovely daughter) purchases from the unique collections we had and just paid through my PayPal account. I cant wait to hear her testimony...

So, if you want to have lovelingly and delicately crafted earrings, bracelets/anklets and necklaces, do check me here. Just leave me a note so I can see and check what you like best. . .

How Sexy Am I?

You Are Very Thin

Your BMI is 18.1 - a healthy BMI falls between 18.5 and 25

Don't lose any weight. You already are quite slender.

You could even gain a few pounds if you wanted.

Indulge yourself every once and a while!

Don't agree? Blame the government standards we based this test on!

WHAT???????? Then why do I have these bulges on my tummy? Bearing a son had done the bulge and I could not seem to remove it. I am still thinking of doing jogs or aerobics just to keep fit and healthy. Of course, to feel and look sexier na rin. hehhehhe

My Happy Birthday

I celebrated after seven years my birthday alone with my biological family and I must say that in spite of the absence of my friends (they were away for some valid reasons), I was quite happy and satisfied. Why? Even if my friends were not around, they greeted and wished me well, even those who I least expected.

****My birthday cake with Yuri and nephew, JP**

My son had chosen me a birthday cake, (which half of it, was all consumed by him =) ). And my siblings prepared their fave food as gift to me. I also had a big chocolate bar too to consume.

Being 31 years old seems all ok and fine. . . You would realize more that nothing really matters most than having your family and friends around (online and offline!). So, I thank the Lord for every person who had touched my life with their presence and for all the blessings big or small that I receive everyday!!!!
