I Am Sick, Tired and Moneyless

We finally pulled out from the last mall exhibit. However, we were all drained and sick from physical exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

I did our store's financial records last night and the recession indeed hit us since the sales were bleak in spite of the operational costs we had incurred from exhibit rent and other expenses.

To sum it all, we did not earn from the exhibits but simply had acquired back our capital. The consolation we have is that our stocks moved and can be replaced by newer trends and we did not actually lose anything from the exhibits except exhaustion and our personal savings from the regular meals at the mall. hahhahahahaha!

I hope that with the coming of Christmas holidays, our store will pick up.

Finally Done With the Mall Exhibit

with my business partner-sister, Tammy

Tomorrow will be the last day of our store exhibit. We have been there for 19 days and the sales had been very bleak compared to the sales we had last summer.

We can somehow go back to our old ways but I am beginning to think of ways how I can earn a little with the little business I started.

My sister, Tammy and I can assess our chance should we really pursue. Good luck to us!

Our Mall Exhibit Will Soon End

Our Robinsons' Mall Exhibit with Tammy as the supervisor

Our Gaisano Mall's exhibit

It has been two weeks since we started our mall exhibit, 1 week for Robinsons. We can really feel the impact of recession when I computed the store's sales and expenses, I got a break-even result.

Although, it is not a good news, I find it also relieving enough that in spite the bleak sales, we were able to pay off the rent while selling our stocks.

Tonight, we will pull out our display from Robinsons and this Friday from Robinsons. With stale sales and with competition, our US stocks have remained the least saleable items that I have to put them on big discounts.

I shall however, find a permanent place at the mall to sell off our items than have them unsold in our old place although we save from the rent. Good luck to us!

We Shall Be on Store Exhibit Again

We want our store to be known that we put our efforts to it. We personally work on the marketing and sales and choose stocks we personally love to wear.

But, we have only a limited store space that we maximize its area well. For one, I need a table top display where I can highlight the fashion accessories, books and some perfume. I need a chic, affordable and portable top display that I can just carry whenever the store goes on a trade exhibit.

This coming July, we will soon join in the mall trade show exhibits and we will be needing flexible display racks, tables and some catchy table covers. There some table covers that are just disposable but pretty enough to attract some customers.

I personally believe that if I want my products to be purchased, I have to first and foremost, make sure that they are displayed well and appropriately in a conspicuous place that they may get positive impression among potential buyers.

Quiet Selling Days for Us

We are soon to leave from our a month of mall exhibit. And since it is May 1, Labor Day and only fresh from pay day, we expect a number of buyers today until this weekend. But, it has been very very quite for several days now. Goodness! The mall is only packed with people but not at all buying.

This is only proves that new clothing is simply something they can do without. For sure, only "ukay-ukay" or used- clothing- for - sale is up. I wish really we get better sales until we close down this Sunday and be backed to our old store.

Our Store Mall Exhibit Gets Extended

We decided previously to pull out our stocks from the mall exhibit since we only have meager sales lately. Tammy and I had to buy from our store just to reach our minimum income to pay the daily rent.

However, the exhibit simply stopped us from leaving but offered a rent discount. Thus, we decided to stay and simply replenish our stocks. We currently have US stocks but they come higher in rates in spite of the 50% discount. Consequently, the buyers would shy away. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Only those who recognize the brands are simply grateful of our stocks.

Well, best wishes to us since we have to stay in this mall exhibit until May 3.

Mall Store Exhibit Gets More Exciting

We started this mall exhibit in Gaisano-Gensan last week. However, we could not at all agree with the stall partner and so, we decided to take a separate stall. We are now officially on our third day as an independent exhibitor.

Tammy and I open the stall around 9 am but the rest of the family help us in the afternoon where a number of customers drop by for a up close and personal critique of our stuffs.

Since payday heat is still on, we wish to have better sales today than the previous days. Gosh, being a sales lady is not at all nice. Hahhahahaah! No wonder there are a number of snobbish saleslady in malls. Kapuy bantay ug tindug oi! Hahhahaahahha! Naa pay customers nga demanding gani. OMG!

Good thing, the family and friends who visit us around keep our sanity intact.Hahhaahahha!

Kreativ Sisters' Store Goes on Mall Exhibit

Our store has joined the mall exhibit in Gaisano-Gensan. The exhibit will run until April 16, 2009. This is a good avenue for the store to be known and to earn a little in spite of the economic crisis here in the Philippines. We proudly sell our Liz Claiborne, Franco Sarto, R2, Bandolino's bags and shoes, and authetentic HAVAIANAS.

Do check us out!

Chatting with my sister on our stall's status.
