Help Your Kid on School

While there are some students who fare well in academics others actually struggle and their learning difficulty can be both challenging and disappointing to parents and students.  While it is true that intelligence is not fully measured by academic performance, learning difficulty however can affect and influence social relationships as pressures from parents, peers and teachers continue to build up.

But, as parent or guardian, you can intervene in your kid's learning difficulty through offline and online tutoring services. For one, if your kid has difficulty on Math questions like Prime numbers, you can search for effective online help.

Further, if other subjects like Science poses a problem, then  Chemistry help, Physics help, or Geometry help can be another option.

Chemistry was once a torture to me when I was a student, thus, it can be a relief to have Chemistry homework help.

Learning is never the sole responsibility of teachers and students, parents and guardians must however contribute to help.

How to Aid Your Child on Learning

Now it is semestral break, most families are simply relieved that they have a week or two to rest and bond with the family. But, more importantly, the break shall help families to search for interventions on their kids' learning difficulties.

Parents or other house members who have ample time may teach their kids personally, but, somehow, with house and work loads, there can be meager time to assist the kids in their school activities and academic exams. Further, parents or other home tutors may not have the right or appropriate skills in teaching the kids. So, the pressures can be even higher and disappointing.

So, another medium to helping the kids is through Online tutoring where you can find help on difficult subjects like Algebra 1, Algebra 2. You can also find Chemistry help or Statistics help.   And, best of all, it offers Free math tutoring online for fast and correct Math answers.

School places a lot of pressures on the kids and even on parents. But, knowing what and where to seek help, learning can indeed be easy as 1 - 2 - 3.

How To Write Good Essays

Writing is never easy; in fact, it is a painstaking and dragging task that can make you go nuts and cranky. But, when deadlines are at stake, you simply have to go through the enduring process of writing essays.

However, best essays are not made out of nowhere. It requires tremendous strings of works and without proper guidance and knowledge base, all your writings can go vain.

One of the things that actually hinder a writer to write is his lack of self - esteem when it comes to writing with correct grammar and convincing content. However, this downside is not impossible to address. A review on your English basics or constructs can give you a head start. Also, having a short course in English can help you professionally.

When language is fully addressed, then you can go to the nitty - gritty of writing essays. Most of my A - grade essays are not done without a solid effort. Normally, with a given topic, it is a must that I gather several resources to support my essay, may it be a Narrative Essay or a Critical Essay. I have to screen out facts from unsupported theories, so, that conviction in my essay can be evident and sensible.

With all the readings, they can be quite overwhelming, thus, when I read several resources, I make sure that I note important points and observe citation rules. And when you do this, make sure that you observe citation format only allowed by your school or by your institution.

After having all the notes, I review and analyze them and see how the ideas can complement and support one another. Further, I identify which argument or point is more convincing and must be well emphasized.

With knowledge of what to write and how to write it, I make an outline of how ideas can freely flow in my essay and how I can support my argument. It is quite imperative that when you write, may it be a personal or an impersonal write – up, your ideas must be organized, and clear. To achieve this is to prepare and follow an outline. Feel free to revise this outline should you think that the change can contribute better.

With an outline, you can now write your essays. Make your title and your introduction catchy, convincing and interesting since these will invite your readers to read the rest of your essays. Make sure too that you only discuss one point per paragraph and that all the body of your essays must complement with one another. In your conclusion, re - stress your arguments and wrap up your essay well.

Lastly, after you make your essay, review it for grammar or typing errors. An essay becomes more professionally looking if it is error free.

So, should you need to write Compare and Contrast Essay, Justification write – ups, or practically anything, you can put your skills to action. But, if you simply don’t have the time or the skills, then, having a mentor or a third – party service to do the essays for you can be of great help.

I Am Back to School

Last January 4, 2010, our school STI had officially resumed to regular classes and I am dead tired again. Sigh!

Now, I am back to reading again and researching some resources to supplement the courseware. I found some interesting free resources online but I quite need some hard bound copies for portable and flexible reading. You see, I just read whenever and whereever I can. Somehow,  this bothers me since it constraints my eyesight and contributes to my eye problems. But, I just have to otherwise I shall be exhausting my time from other compelling works.

I only have to ask my family to print some works through his office printer since my printer has gone drained from ink. I just have to buy that much needed Printer Cartridges and do more comfortable and handy printing at home or at our store.  Further, we shall soon need these once our mall boutique will go operational.

I have to make use of my evening time to prepare the needed resources for the next day's teaching. Also, it drags me to laziness but I know I just  have to go back to regular works while  we have our business. Although, it is quite different since most of the time, the store is closed since no one gets to man it.

We decided to go back to biking and jogging again. I just wish we can sustain this longer than necessary.

To Go To School or Not

I am currently torn between pursuing my professional advancement and family. Schooling requires resources and time which I could hardly keep up. This makes me pretty guilty since I could not make up to the lost time I have to give to my kid and to the business we recently initiated among other important reasons.

But, I am halfway done with my second masteral degree and I see it more wasted if this wont be pursued until it is completed, needless to say, the self-recognition for earning two degrees.

Goodness! I really have to make up my mind. Which one is more compelling to heed, Recognition or Family?

Enrolment Again for the Kids and Me

Classes will start again this June 8, I have to have my kid and myself enrolled again. Tsk! tsk! tsk! This pretty means I shall be working dead again this semester with all the busy days and weekends ahead.

I only wish I will have ample time for Yuri. I just have to have our enrollment done before the vacation.

My School Needs VoIP

The school where I am connected with has been established since 1960's but still it employs the traditional dial-up phone system. The bad thing is they only situate their phone in the Registrar's Office. Consequently, those who are in remote offices will have to go to the Registrar's Office to place their call.

I heard that VOIP Phone Systems would allow callers to see who is on the other line with messaging capabilities and other advance call features. It will be a delight if this kind of phone system is actually established in our school.

More importantly, it is possible to have voice messaging and forwarding, SMS and web connection. It is quite call indeed. I really hope the school will start considering VoIP phone systems.

I Can't Work

It is quite frustrating that I could not use my notebook to do my official and blogging works. Goodness! I could not even work on the blogging contest Tammy and I originally planned. I had it shipped through Tammy to George, our adopted family member, so he can bring the notebook to ASUS technical support.

It may take months to finally have it again. Until then, I have to only borrow my sister's and partner's laptops. waaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! I hope I can have it before my masteral project will be due next semester.

Our Summer Classes Are On and I Am Dead

I decided to stop from my masteral class since I don't have the time and rest anymore for the family and our just-starting business. My mom and sister, Tammy simply asked me to take a break yet. I also decided not to continue with our masteral project. I realy need a good rest and a long vacation.

I had helped during the store exhibit since day 1 when we started with the mall exhibit. However, today, I have to become a teacher again since our college summer classes are on. I just have to hop then from our business, to school and vice versa. Whew!!!!

The extreme weather condition is not also helping. My allergy is getting worst too. waaaaaaaaaaaah!

Lurking Zombie: Me

For straight several weeks, I have been burning my eyebrows working on my masteral projects in IT. My usual sleep just simply starts at 2 am and wakes up by 6 am. Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!

We were supposed to submit two database systems, one in Java programming and the other in Ruby. I was able to complete the entire Java project but now I am struggling with Ruby where too many confusing resources are available but not at all helping.

I know I have to finish this project fast if I want to earn a passing mark. I just wish I can stumble on the right tutorial to really get me starting and completing the project.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Forgetful Teacher

After two weeks of sick leave and heavy work, I am having hard time remembering things. I am all lost and I am really wondering if the temporary amnesia is really temporary.Hahahhahah! My students had to remind me of our classes, and schedules. Perhaps, not having attended my daily classes made my memory all dumb.LOL!

Now, the worse part was, I was all ready to attend my first subject in the morning and went straight to our school lobby. Then, it hit me, I was wearing the wrong uniform! OMG! I was all caught blushing!

I was told I could still go on with the day on the wrong uniform but that would me look silly and dumb.Hahahahhah! So, I opted to go home again although I missed my class and I simply wore something else. Gosh! At this rate, I would rather stay home and just concentrate on writing. Hahahhahah!

Can I blame my old sickness or it just simply my age of 30'ish?waaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Getting Used to Sick Leave

Come Monday, I am required to report to my teaching work. waaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! I love teaching and working. Gosh, I usually work 18 hours everyday as a student, teacher and entrepreneur.

But after 2 weeks of work rest and only content myself with TV, blog hopping and opps catching, now I want to just stay home a little bit longer.hahhahahah!!!!

I shall however finish my masteral project before I report to work, otherwise I shall be grinding my teeth again with all the piled duties I have to finish. I have to see my masteral professor to help me through my JAVA project and catch up with my missed lectures from work. My, this would really be an exciting weekend. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

Busy Teacher-Businesswoman-Student: Me

This week is quite busy for me as our school shall open our College Days tomorrow until Saturday. We have the opportunity to sell our shirts tomorrow and some of the store's stocks. But as I do this, I prepare our stocks. I asked my students for a free day today, but I have to use the time too to prepare my masteral project in JAVA programming as it is soon due.

My partner is quite busy too doing the shirt printing for another client. WOW! I hope I can still breath.hahahhahaha!

Good luck to us!

How Difficult Teaching Students Now

As a teacher for over a decade, I had seen how the quality of education degenerated. I could very well see this from the works of my students. Teaching them programming is something, teaching them how to analyze problems is entirely different.

I won't say I was a good student myself since I also struggled before. But, one thing forsure, majority of the students now have taken for granted schooling for games, cellphones, gimmicks among other things.

Whenever, they receive their poor scores, they seem happier that they still tease their classmates. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! I can't help but smile and pity their parents at the same time. Who should we blame anyway?

TGIF Again!

Tomorrow is Friday and it means, I can lay low with my lectures and works and prepare instead for my masteral classes during the weekend. Do I call this rest? Hahhahaha, this is indeed rest already.

I just consumed my late afternoon earlier watching a kid's movie with my son, and just enjoyed my snacks with my family. This is indeed one of the things I crave lately, fun, family and rest!!!!

We shall however consume our day tomorrow in school for a research talk. Hmnnnn, I rather wish I shall be somewhere else but there.hahahhahah!

But, thank God it is Friday again!Yepey!

Dropping my Many Works Dead but Hunting

As an IT masteral student, teacher, entrepreneur, writer, adviser, mother, wife, blogger, finally decided to ask my boss to drop one teaching subject I have and my school publication advisory so I can rest a bit. I am indeed missing a lot of fun, sleep and my kid is deprived again!

I am enthusiastic and passionate with my works, but my body is complaining already. My head drums a lot and the back is consistently with excruciating pain. I know I really have to rest, and do my jogging routines to help my back. But, I can't really have these done, as every minute has its valuable task appointment.waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

I really hope my boss can finally find a substitute teacher for my class otherwise, I am left with no choice but to finish this semester with 33 hours of teaching subjects! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

I Teach Blog!

As an educator, I have to find means to help my students learn, through typical lecture or otherwise. When I started blogging, I was elated that I can meet friends, learn more and earn extra.

So, I taught blogging to my students that they may appreciation what a blog can do. With the lectures we have in the classroom, I get to ask them to use the internet resources to complement the lectures and use their blog to present their works.Hahhahahahha! Some students would just stick to answering their assigned activities while others are that creative to make their blogs presentable. I get to know them more especially, those who spill out their heads and emotions on some issues I normally present or voluntarily they would provide. Hmnnnnn, this is one interesting side of teaching that I will always love!

I wish that I can teach them how to write XML and HTML code so they can improve their blogs. Now, that is one vision, I wish to eventually solve. Perhaps, when I have the time. . . .

Sundays in a Classroom

It has been a couple of Sundays that I spent my time with my professor and classmates instead of my family and having rest and fun. Sigh!

Now, I have to hit the road again and travel to another city for my masteral class. I slept very late last night, working on my JAVA database program, and I couldn't actually make it run.HuhuhuhU!

I am really very old and drained for all these works! I have to miss my ironing and laundry and lecture making among other things because of this schooling on a Sunday. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! When did they invent masteral schools anyway?Tsk!Tsk!Tsk!

OMG! Classroom is in Davao

Unlike my usual weekends of heading to Koronadal City for my masteral classes, my entire class shall be heading off to Davao City this morning to join the FOSS for SME's. It is a half-day-open-source program, that is credited to our masteral class in IT.

We are however excited to be there but, the exhaustion shall be unbearable because of the 6-hour travel to -and- from Davao and GenSan City.

Tomorrow, we shall however report back to Koronadal for our other class. You can say, my weekend is not a week end. hahahahhahahah!!!! This is indeed my very busy life: teacher, student, blogger, designer, and ek. . . ek. . LOL!!!!

A Loooooong Weekend

Since it is Saturday today, I attended again my masteral schooling in Notre Dame Marbel University. The 2-hour travel has become a routine to me every Saturday.

We had hurdled well our previous semester's subjects as I received all my passing marks. Though, I was quite disappointed with one professor who gave me a lower grade than my groupmate who had submitted exactly the same exam answers with mine. This only showed that the professor had based his grades not on merits but by whom he knows. My groupmate works in the same school where the professor is holding a position. I am not actually grade conscious but of course, I deserve anything that is fairly due for my efforts. Nagyawyaw ang kalag! hahahhaahh!

Well, though this dampened my spirit, I had to attend to my new subjects this semester. We were given earlier some laboratory works on JAVA programming. And, OMG, it really blew off my mind. I indeed wish, I went to IT masteral schooling when I was younger. The programming languages now are all new and so my generation languages are indeed of yesteryears!

I somehow blamed myself and my partner for getting myself to this headache. And, unlike our usual weekend schedules, we have now Sunday classes. Goodness! I cant anymore breath.haahhahahahh!

Our supposed schedule of mountaineering and Kayak adventures in Samal Islands this Dec. 13-14 are now officially canceled as we have our weekend classes. I really wish to stop but then I have gone this far to call it quits. AJA Rosilie! I know this will soon get over, come 3 more semesters, what?!!!!!!!! hahahhahahahh!
