Wanting My Own Ecommerce Site Too

We are officially one month with our Kreativ  Boutique  situated at Upper Level of Atrium, Gaisano - General Santos City. We practically sell anything fancy and fad and that includes pants, shirts, blouses, shoes, bags, belts and fashion accessories for men, women and young ones.

However, with the need to promote the store and encourage more sales, I indeed created a Facebook account to serve this purpose and I have been wanting to have my  own e-commerce site to make online shopping more possible and efficient.

E-commerce has indeed defined a different tapestry for shopping where business and transactions can be made beyond the four corners of any physical store. And, with boundless limits of Internet technology, ideally, a store's website can reach to as many people across nations and towns. However, having a good e-commerce site with  efficient ecommerce web hosting  requires tremendous marketing to promote a good amount of traffic to any online company site. And, if this marketing is well taken care of, it is equally important that security on payment transactions should be assured too. Further, online customers  can have their shopping carts and tracking of their online purchases. I wish to have customer support too just in case queries or feedbacks shall be placed.

With technology hype, it is only smarter and more effective to make use of this technology to the advantage of any enterprise, private or otherwise.

Thus, as soon as I can, I shall make my own e-commerce site with all the basic shopping functionalities required.

 The best thing I love  and appreciate as a SOCCSKSARGEN blogger is that my community is solid irregardless of the blogger's background. We simply welcome anyone who writes on blogs and whenever we have gimmicks, everyone is invited to join. Thus, this has become my extended family that I wont miss inviting  them during our store opening. Only a day before the opening that I sent my invitation and a good few came and joined us in our celebration. 

Then, Sheng and husband Rick did join us in late afternoon while Aiza came to visit us the following day. I can only be grateful that my community has become a source of friendship and inspiration that anyone can be called a family, by blood or otherwise. So, many thanks guys and ladies and I shall be expecting our bloggers to see us. Cheers again! 

Our Mall Boutique Has Finally Opened

Last July 18, 2010, we finally opened our store situated at Gaisano Gensan. We were supposed to open it July 8 but because of construction delays, the soonest date was 18, thus, in spite of unfinished cabinets and other aesthetics, we somehow realized successfully our opening day. 

We have various apparel from abroad  and of varying prices  since we tend to target the upper and middle class. We can only be hopeful that the rest of the stalls shall be filled up, so, the public can be attracted to seeing the second level of the mall and check our stuffs. 

We however would want to level up our promotion to increase our sales and we can only be thankful of our friends and regular customers to help us do our marketing. 

For now, we are only happier that finally our dream has been realized. 

I Am Dead!

Forgive my title but this is really what I feel. I am dead tired working day in and out. I attend to the family in the morning, head to the boutique store in the morning, go and teach to my afternoon class, go to our food stall every late afternoon, blog in the evening. I simply sleep around 1 am and sleep for 5-6 hours.

These are my regular activities not counting the other things I have to do for the store or class. Geez!!!! I am no superwoman and I am simply drained.

I found hobby that can get me relaxed, reading Twilight Series. Hahahahah!!!!

My Sister and I are Busy Bees!

My sister, Tammy and I had long started the boutique business. We did sell RTW's and a number of chic accessories for all ages.

But, having a store is not quite easy. Our time is all filled up with ways how we can reach to our customers and offer them what they want.

Lately, however, we have exhibits at malls and goodness, we have to take turns in overseeing it.

Tammy, also decided to start her own stocks, so we are all consumed daytime by business and blogging at nighttime. hahahhahahah!

I just don't know how we can manage all these when I start my parttime teaching next week. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

I Am Sick, Tired and Moneyless

We finally pulled out from the last mall exhibit. However, we were all drained and sick from physical exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

I did our store's financial records last night and the recession indeed hit us since the sales were bleak in spite of the operational costs we had incurred from exhibit rent and other expenses.

To sum it all, we did not earn from the exhibits but simply had acquired back our capital. The consolation we have is that our stocks moved and can be replaced by newer trends and we did not actually lose anything from the exhibits except exhaustion and our personal savings from the regular meals at the mall. hahhahahahaha!

I hope that with the coming of Christmas holidays, our store will pick up.

New Mall Exhibit at Robinsons Mall

We have joined the mall exhibit in Gaisano Mall since Monday but the sales have been very very bleak that I did strategize to earn more.

However, since Robinsons Mall has recently opened, the general public has been wandering in this mall since its soft opening last September 30. We shall however, stay for a week's exhibit at one of their hallways.

I only wish our sales will be more than enough to pay off the daily rent and efforts. So, my sister, Tammy will man the new exhibit while I stay in Gaisano.

We are Sales Ladies

I never imagine that being a sales lady can be tedious and tiresome. My sister and I joined our boutique for a mall exhibit that runs from September 28 until October16.

I shall be oficially unemployed tomorrow so, I shall my sister in manning our stall. We get stales sales but at least, we managed to pay the rent but shoulder our own meals. waaaaaaah!!!!

We could only be hopeful that things will be better in the coming days.

I Need a Vacation

My sister, Tammy, will soon leave for Manila to attend to the new business my younger sister plans to have.

This will make our boutique unman although my mom usually attends to customers whenever she is free. I will soon leave my job, so, somehow, I have to all my best to make my business work.

My partner has his job, and after 11 years of everyday work, I will soon have my vacation and do anything at my bidding. Would that be a relief?! I hope so. My mom has persevered from our furniture business, I can take her endurance and wisdom as my guide.

Then, I can go back to doing what I love, biking and jogging.

I Quit

I made my resignation letter today and shall submit it tomorrow. I know I am becoming impulsive and have the tendency to just drop anything that causes me headache. I have my long patience but if after all alternatives taken and things still dont go the way I expect it, I take off. So, come tomorrow, I shall resign from a very promising job but I chose to take new risks by starting a new business and manage the boutique at the same time.

Am I making the right decision? I hope so.

We Have New Havaianas Flip Flops

Just two days ago, our Havaianas flip flops from Brazil arrived our store. We only have 9 pairs, so, I am pretty sure, soon these will be sold out. We sell most of these online while local buyers visit our place too.

I Want My Own Car

In my previous post, I had written that I am learning how to drive a motorcycle. I have to fully overcome my fear of driving since I have to master this before I can drive any vehicle, particularly, our family van.

It is rainy season in the Philippines and since I go to school every day for work and for my masteral schooling, I really must learn how to drive and how to get my own personal car. But at this time of economic recession, having a car can be most difficult.

I heard that there are Car Title Loans who come cheaper and easier to get. Surely, there can be Pink Slip Loans to somehow address my car needs or I can go for Collateral Loans so it would be more secured on the part of the lending company.

There is this lending company who approves loan applications even if you have bad credit history or denied credit applications elsewhere or if you are bankrupt or if you have tax liens. You can get your money in a flash. It is quite convenient for anyone who needs a vehicle like me.

Since we have a store, it will be more convenient to me to just drive my own car whenever I want it while I bring in stocks from our suppliers. It will be more convenient also if I can just travel from school to our store at any time.

If I have my own car, I can teach my other siblings to drive too. With that, we can take turns in buying the store's stocks. Consequently, our travel expenses will be cheaper than to take the bus travels.

Our Store Mall Exhibit Gets Extended

We decided previously to pull out our stocks from the mall exhibit since we only have meager sales lately. Tammy and I had to buy from our store just to reach our minimum income to pay the daily rent.

However, the exhibit simply stopped us from leaving but offered a rent discount. Thus, we decided to stay and simply replenish our stocks. We currently have US stocks but they come higher in rates in spite of the 50% discount. Consequently, the buyers would shy away. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Only those who recognize the brands are simply grateful of our stocks.

Well, best wishes to us since we have to stay in this mall exhibit until May 3.

Kreativ Sisters' Store Goes on Mall Exhibit

Our store has joined the mall exhibit in Gaisano-Gensan. The exhibit will run until April 16, 2009. This is a good avenue for the store to be known and to earn a little in spite of the economic crisis here in the Philippines. We proudly sell our Liz Claiborne, Franco Sarto, R2, Bandolino's bags and shoes, and authetentic HAVAIANAS.

Dead Tired but Wide Awake

I have been sleeping late since the start of February, too busy with blogs, masteral projects and business. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! It is actually way past 1 am.waaaaaaaaah!

But, today we had our stuffs exhibited in our school for fund raising project of our department and for our exposure and sales as well.

It was way past 9 am earlier when we arrived the venue but we were quite surprised that the booth was not made up at all. So, I pulled my strength to help in the carpentry.hahhahahhah! My students had seen me alright that they started helping out. Good students indeed that we finished the booth in no time!

But, the hustle and bustle all filled us up that we missed lunch.hahahhah! We did pretty well in our sales, though some were credit by known friends.Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! We were all quite tired that at 5 pm, we closed our store and called it a very hot, and tiring day. We proceded to a pedicure session to relax.Haahahhaha!

Two more days and we indeed hope, we can get more and more sales. Good Luck to Us!
