Why You Should Read Consumer Rankings and Reviews

With everyone else going online and exploring the benefits of online marketing, as a consumer, you can be quite overwhelmed. Thus, being informed of what to buy and where to buy can be relieving and assuring.
Consumers would rather get worth from their hard-earned money, thus, if they purchase products or services that don’t meet or satisfy the standards expected during marketing, they have every right to get cranky, pissed or cheated.

According to the survey made by consulting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP in 2007, consumers ‘ decisions are directly influenced by the consumer – written product reviews and ratings. And, these reviews and ratings also influence other potential buyers. Thus, if companies need to boost revenues, they have to make sure that their products and services really live up to the industry standards with add – on edge and that they deliver what they promise.

Consequently, Consumer Rankings are imperative and significant as they provide the following benefits:

  • Guaranteed Money
If purchased products don’t function at all or don’t live up to what you expect, it can be great deal of pain to spend hard – earned money on products and services with unsatisfactory performance. You wish you could have purchased or subscribed elsewhere or have read reviews first before letting go of your resources.

  • Maximized Time
Finding the best product or services takes time if you need to do your research personally but with consumer rankings, your search time can be smaller and guaranteed.

  • Security
You purchase products or acquire services trusting that satisfactory performance is guaranteed. With legitimate and reliable consumer feedbacks on any desired product or service, you can set your anxiety at ease.
So, if your search for consumer reviews include best dating sites, then go check Match.com review and you know that you won’t feel sorry at all.

Busy Weekend for Me

For others who are employees of any government or private entity, they may be enjoying their weekends already but in my case, I am enduring the  3 - hour stay filling my dues as I do my laboratory assignment.

So, while the students work on their laboratory requirements, I somehow made use of the time to update this blog and wait for them to finish their works. Of course, I get to attend them whenever they call for help. Somehow, it is only depressing to note that not all students share the same passion for learning. That is, while others are breaking their senses doing their laboratory assignments, others are enjoying their non-sense activities. As a teacher, I can only remind them of their duties.

After this long hours of work, I shall head back again to our store and do my other tasks. sigh! But, I can only be grateful that another beautiful day has come and I am still alive and kicking only busier.  LOL!

What to Need for Your Website

When I started blogging as a medium to release my stress, I only made use of blogspot’s free hosting. However, blogging becomes a supplemental medium to earning income too that having a domain becomes a necessity rather than a simple whim.

Since the traffic of this blog is considerably high, I find it difficult to shift it to customized domain hosting. So, I have my other blogs with own web hosting already where subscription is done only once with annual subscription fee at meager cost. However, I would like to shift the web hosting of my last blog to a different entity since its management is quite limited and frustrating.

When you own a website or when your company has one, make sure that you go for the best web hosting service provider. It is only essential that you have full control over this site but if you want a third party to do the dirty works, having a managed hosting will do you better.

Further, just in case you want your server and all its precious data to be in secured physically and virtually, you can go for colocation arrangement too.

I wish to start new blogs but this time,  I shall scrutinize my web hosting partner more.

My Top Influential Blogs

Blogging is my passion and when I started in 2008, I have quite enjoyed the perks of having blogs: new friends, countless gimmicks, free concert tickets, additional earnings and great wisdom and humor from other bloggers.

So, I won't at all pass the Writing Project for 2010 Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs and give my  list because my nominees simply have great blogs with heart and soul that can simply make readers weep, laugh and most of all, love life.

So, my short list includes:

  • Ganda Ever So Much - If I want my day to be more comic, alive and witty, I just don't miss reading the entriess from this blog. His honesty and transparency and even criticisms can indeed rock your  funny bone and make you do uncalled self - meditation because of his profoundness, intellect and humor.
  • Kikay Much - Everyone is vain and if you are in search for beauty tips, entertainment gadgets, fashion trends, you won't miss this fashion - beauty site that is simply filled with personalized and true - to - the - bone reviews of a certified fashionista herself. You will simply have the urge to try anything  she writes.
  • AlexisChua - you will be quite amazed by the monstrosity of intellect and passion from this blog and to know that he is just fresh from college, you may wish all leaders and young ones share same passion for anything he loves, politics, technology, community, economics and Philippine development to top his list.
  • Ako si Rabsky - This blog is like reading Vice Ganda's punch line and if you want to take a glimpse how the Kabataan see the present Philippine state, you will be quite surprise how this blog brings out the truth with funny icing on the top.
  • Gensan Gems - I like this blog because the author  presents the less known recipes and wacky adventures in South Cotabato one should not miss.
  • A Thousand Ships - this is a photoblog and not only that you get to see amazing and unique and personal pictures, you shall be amazed too with all the vivid and interesting stories behind these great pictures too.

My Wordpress Blog Ordeal

I have a number of blogs made in Blogger and I found this platform more easy and convenient to use. But, as a blogger who does paid works, I was compelled to try Wordpress.

And, like any other sane person who hates transition, the Wordpress setting is quite a struggle.  I could not even search the section where I can add widgets. I am really an idiot. LOL!

Apart from adding widgets, I need three - column format and I can search these from Free Wordpress themes.  At least, adopting them can be easier. I had my varying themes but I  still search for other designs I can  boost.

I wish to have my very own customized theme. Perhaps, in due time, I can find Wordpress setting exceptional. I just have to read tutorials and to try other tips to make my experience with Wordpress more worthwhile and easy.

Another Blog for Me

My other blog in Wordpress

I have four running blogs and since I have more time to waste, I decided to have another business - oriented blog.  However, I must run it in Wordpress. Thus, I am facing a big dilemma, I am lost with Wordpress. I can just write my posts, insert pictures, and just logout. LOL!

I am still waiting for a fellow blogger to help me out with customizing the template and getting my domain.

For now, I will just content myself with writing my stuffs everyday.

Do I See PayingPost/Blogadvertisingstore A Scam?

I did first try Payingpost early this year when I was still new with blogging. At that time, the payout was only 50$ with big offers. And, the payout was always on the first day of the next month.

However, the opportunities for Payingpost became scarce until recently when I got a few until I reached their new payout of $100. Problem started to occur when Payingpost now called Blogadvetisingstore did not pay on time. My sister, Tammy shared the same sentiments. Thus, our disappointments were not anymore contained that I told here to seek the help of advertisers since Payingpost would not respond to their support queries and complaints.

After seeking third - party help and days of waiting, Payingpost finally paid as I wrote on previous post. But, after posting this, several other bloggers sought my help and I was only willing to give them the ways.

Unfortunately, Payingpost did not respond to the same strategy my sister and I did. If a blogger will check if Payingpost is a scam or not, you can ask other bloggers if they are paid. But, I discourage myself and my sister to continue writing for this site because in the future, help can be nowhere to get. We were just lucky once, we dont want to gamble again.

You can check the bloggers below for their feedbacks if they have finally received their payments.

Payingpost Finally Paid Me! Hurray!

After days of being pissed off because of Payingpost passive action, I did take initiative of asking its advertisers for assistance. One of their advertisers was kind enough to help me get the much needed response. And, after the email, I was paid in minutes, my much awaited payout! Hurray! So, now I recalled all the words I said about this site.

I was however, advised to email again Payingpost and gave a CC copy to the advertiser. Here is a copy my email:

As advice by one of your advertisers, Bidhere that I should email you with a copy of this directed to them, I am again requesting your company to give the payments of $117.00 which is supposed to be paid out last November 1, 2009.

I did write my honest reviews promptly and eagerly knowing that your company is legitimate. I have read your rules and have abided them, I only demand that you exercise your duty as a professional company. I did write you more than once requiring you to at least explain the delay, but you simply ignored my emails that I was compelled to ask from your advertisers their own assistance to check if you are indeed a scam or not. I am only fortunate that BIDHERE.COM was kind enough to give me your contact info since your website contact remain non-responsive.

We all know the power of online advertising, and convincing other bloggers that your company is a total scam and badmouth the sites that your company work for may not at all do good to your company and to all the advertiser your company work for and the potential advertisers who may want to consider your services.

You have explained to my sister, Tammy who recently received her payment after she complained to one of your advertisers that the cause of delay was simply to check on the links, I have waited more than months to expect the payment I am due for all my approved reviews, an appropriate action on your end should have speed up the re-checking and pay us ontime. Further, a reply on my queries could have enlighten me and other angry bloggers and not worsen the situation. I respect your company and its rules and I only demand that the same courtesy is given to me.

All of my posts were approved month(s) ago, and every post is active, there is no reason for you to delay or not pay me at all. I quite understand your rules of changing your payout from $50 to $100 but I shall never tolerate being ignored and cheated.

I have promoted your site and the advertisers' to my family, fellow bloggers and friends in US and in other parts of the world. I don't want to wait that they too shall see you and your advertisers in the bad light.

I only demand what is due for me and extend the same courtesy and action you did for my sister and for my months of labor and waiting.

Your kind action on this request shall make a difference.

The Online Me

The start of Internet in 1980’s had made a dramatic change not only in commercial establishments but also in homes. The form of company, product or service advertising has taken a major shift from its conventional form of printed and aerial to non-printed. Thus, websites like Google, Yahoo and other commercial web sites proliferate.

But, I could not underestimate the power of blogging as a form of journal website. I had continued my passion for writing through blogs last year. Since then, I never stop writing about politics, health, education, parenting, family, recreation, fashion and more. For blogs to become popular and marketable, traffic is highly required. Thus, I have submitted my blogs to different web directory. Somehow, my blog traffic increases and my readership widen. More importantly, I have met people from web directories who also become social networks and source of endless references for topics that highly interest me.

Further, I have made to promote my fashion store online. My blogs have helped me sell my stuffs and cater to buyers outside my local premises, thus, increasing the likelihood of revenues.

No wonder companies worldwide, small or big have maximized the prowess and depth of internet and its technology.

What I also appreciate from Internet and its web sites are the blogs I make with my students as part of our classroom instruction. Somehow, learnings become more interactive and rich in resources.

I make my programming codes and lectures available online and sometimes, I make use of some tutorials available for added references. That way, students may actually review our lessons and even go advance should they need. They can find resources and tutorials to help them understand our lessons more. But, I make sure that when I give problem, the solution is not entirely found from the resources. This way, students are taught to be more analytical and creative in solving programs.

The tutorial contains different references on the basics and programming codes as sample to support the topic. The tutorial is quite easy to use and may be used as a supplement to text books. And if students and other viewers or readers want to be clarified on certain topics, forum or discussion is there to assist anyone.

Internet's resources like tutorials and e - books are normally free. We just have to be resourceful and vigilant of what is a correct content from fictitious ones. Also, one can acquire software journals for added IT learnings.

I Blog, Earn and Advertise

I have been blogging for more than a year. And, since writing is a passion to me, a blog post can just be written in less than an hour. But, not only that I get to express what I feel and think about something or someone, I get to earn through different ways including writing reviews for companies.

But, what I also like about blogging is the blog advertising that I get to promote my business and sell my stuffs online. Best of all, it can reach to different sides of the world and payment is done even through Paypal account. With this, I get to cater online and offline clients, thereby, creating wider market base and increasing opportunities for business and sales.

Internet now has become a very powerful tool among students, professionals and entrepreneurs in promoting their organizations or in addressing their personal needs including but not limited to entertainment, shopping or learning. Thus, companies now use blogs and other websites to advertise their services and products. And since, people simply search through Yahoo, Google or Wikipedia to search for stuffs, blog exposure only increases the likelihood that popular companies get to notice more. Indeed, blog advertising works!

So, if you like to write only through a different medium and earn or advertise at the same time, create now your blog and maximize this to your advantage!

I Won Air Supply Concert Tickets

The winners and organizers minus me

Since blog contests were created by Bariles, I had been winning concert tickets. I won first prize tickets to the concert of David Pomeranz, Side A Band and now, AIR SUPPLY! There were 27 entries nationwide and even from Thailand with 10 judges to critique. I was pretty lucky to be selected for one of the major prizes. Yepey!

The much-awaited concert shall be concluded today, October 2, 2009. I have asked my sister, Tammy and my partner to join the contest since I want my parents to use the rest of the tickets for themselves.

I quite missed the awarding since I have to man our mall exhibit but my sister, Tammy got the tickets for us.

Well, we will surely have fun of loving and singing tonight! Thanks Mr. Michael Wee of Grab a Crab for producing the concert and sponsoring the prizes!

I Love Blogging

I have been blogging for more than a year and since I like to write, blogging becomes easier. But, what I appreciate more with blogs is that anyone can use it for advertising. I normally sell my stuffs on line but companies now go for Blog Advertising to widen their readership and market.

I did Paid Blogging for a year too and it helps pay the bills and lighten my financial obligations. Somehow, blogging works for me because I can do it whenever and wherever I am free .

Making Money through Our Desktop Blogging

I started blogging only a year ago and what seems to be unrewarding had become a supplemental medium to earn a living. It took me five months to really start seeing dollars going into my account. Somehow, blogging had helped me through my masteral schooling and other bills.

I also had convinced my other sibling to go on blogging as a home job. Further, since I was also teaching, I had used my blogs to impart academic lessons and means how blogs can be used to earn an add - on income.

Somehow, I earn through paid reviews, advertisements and online customers for our store. But, just like an article I read, blogging can be used to earn more. You can actually do telemarketers for certain companies or blog design or training expert. I did want to use my IT skills to design and customize templates for an added income, but, I was simply too busy.

If I have to search what are the most sought answers about blogging, it is always about how to make money from blogs.

I believe it is important to note that blogs are not easy money. They are to worked on, designed, visited and updated regularly before you can see a dollar in your account.

My Very Cool New Layout

I first started my blogging passion through this blog and since I barely had an idea to what should be done to have a productive blog, I settled for pre-made template and plain blogging skill.

My other blogs, Limitless Adventure, Wacky Knit Kin and Teacher Techie Says, were redesigned to have that personalized look. Two of which were generously given by my sister Tammy's friends.

I had been wanting to design the layout of this blog but I simply had no time. So, I am forever grateful to Femikey who lovingly designed this blog for free! I quite love the color combination and images used! I did wonder how she guessed my taste. hehehehehhe!

So, if you want to have that beautiful blog makeover, do check Femikey and her works.

To Femikey, thank you sis! Ganahan kaayo ko sa design! mwa!

Blog Addicts at Home

blogging at any position!

Is Tammy sleeping? Definitely nope! She's blogging with her notebook under the table.

Tammy and I are definitely blog addicts. hahahhahaha! Since it's Sunday and our househelpers' day off, we missed cooking our meal on time because we were both hooked to our notebooks. hahahhahaah! Good thing, our pop did not raise a hell out of it. We had to ask other household member to cook the meals instead. waaaaaaaaaaaaah!

I am however, pretty consumed with all the works online. I guess this is pretty the same with my sister, only that, we are unmindful of our family's hunger. hahhahaah!

Employees' Orientation for Us

Our school will officially start its first semester classes on Monday and I have to be honest, I really wish it can be moved to next year.hahahhahah!

I am just getting tired of teaching; I simply get more excited to just wait for customers in our store than teach before my college students. hahahhaah!

So, the school administration held us in a remote resort for an orientation. I indeed wish that my butt was just next to my laptop, watching the Korean soap opera, BOYS OVER FLOWERS. tsk tsk tsk!

But by all means, I have to gather all my strength for Monday. Wish me luck!
